The "purple shadow" is just some photo-optic effect of the same aircraft. The jet fighter in the desert in Nevada is a derelict F-4 Phantom II used as a target on a military firing range. Nevada has extensive firing ranges used by the air force weapons school at Nellis Air Force Base near Las Vegas. Target aircraft are very common at military ranges around the world. They're brought there by trucks, so there's nothing mysterious about that. Paris is full of derelict aircraft in residential areas, this particular ex-French Air Force Mirage 3 jet fighter looks like being parked at a (technical?) school. Technical schools around the world are often situated in residential areas and often use old aircraft for training or promotional purposes. These days there are even a lot of privately owned ex-military aircraft. Aircraft spotters around the world have published numerous books on them with detailed info on the whereabouts, tailnumbers, type of aircraft etc etc. "World - Military Out Of Service" by Andy Marden or "European Military Out Of Service" by Otger van der Kooij and Andy Marden are just two of them, both with the locations of many thousands of ex-military aircraft that can be found off-airport around the world, like musea, schools, people's backgarden, firing ranges, dumpsites, (trash)companies, crashsites, memorial sites etc etc. Regards, Stephan The “plane crash” looks more like a small airplane doing aerobatics.

It is an old disabled jet that is used for target practice by other aircraft. It was most likely hauled out on a truck. If you look around you will see allot of stuff like this is Nevada area.
